30/04/2009 - Nasal-Sinusal Endoscopic Surgery Update - 1st Course

Taking advantage of the Labor Day holiday, the first course about an update of Nasal-Sinusal Endoscopic Surgery took place on 30th April, 1st and 2nd May, under the coordination of Dr. Marco Cesar Santos. There were more than 90 participants, being doctors and residents of Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
During the course surgeries were performed with live broadcast to the amphitheater, and the participants had the opportunity of interact with the surgeon, and some of them took part in the surgical center (hands on), under the direct supervision of the surgeon.
As well as doctors from the IPO Body of Physicians the course included the participation of Dr. Washington Almeida - Otorhinolaryngologist from Feira de Santana, Bahia and Dr. Ricardo Ferreira - Medical Radiologist, responsible technician at the Água Verde Diagnostic Center.
According to the participants, the course achieved the proposed objectives, and allowed for an important exchange of knowledge and experience.
