27/03/2009 - Microsurgery of the Larynx - 1st Course

In March the first course about Microsurgery of the Larynx took place, coordinated by Dr. Evaldo Macedo. On 27th and 28th March Curitiba received more than 80 doctors, residents and speech therapists from various Brazilian states such as: Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Norte, etc. and also from our neighboring country, Paraguay, to participate in the event.
During the course surgeries were performed with live broadcast to the amphitheater, allowing interaction between the surgeon and the audience.
The participants were satisfied with the quality and dynamics of the classes, and suggested more themes to be approached and that participation in the surgical center is more open. The next edition already will include this idea!
