On 12th the first update seminar on the Voice took place at IPO Hospital promoted and organized by the Invoz Institute in partnership with IPO.

The course was coordinated by Dr. Sílvia Pinho (Invoz São Paulo) and Dr. Evaldo Macedo (IPO Hospital) and included more than 50 participants. Some of the main themes covered were: Functional evaluation of the larynx and the vocal tract in voice professionals (Dr. Sílvia Pinho), Laryngeal Pharyngeal Reflux and vocal quality (Dr. Evaldo Macedo). Also recent research related to Laryngology was presented including: Laryngological findings and quality of life and voice in the elderly (Denise Ienk) and application of the modification of the Lee Silverman Approach in patients with Parkinson's Disease (Andrea Miranda de Barros).
