CIPA

The Internal Commission for Prevention of Accidents in the Workplace – operates in an integrated manner with all sectors of the hospital, valuing the safety of collaborators, doctors and patients. They propose improvements and modifications relating to the prevention of accidents in the workplace and informing superiors so that the appropriate steps can be taken and in conjunction with Human Resources they plan and complete the Internal Week for Prevention of Accidents in the Workplace (SIPAT) using relevant issues. It is also open to the public. The CIPA meeting happens monthly, where the members present and discuss improvements and adjustments already carried out and decide which future measures will be taken, later to be presented to the administration of the hospital. On the 10th October 2007 the CIPA election took place and the Management for 2008/2009 was confirmed on the 12th November in the IPO Hospital auditorium.
